Privacy Policy
Who we are
Agha Juice (AGHA JUICE PTY LTD, ABN 40 600 770 401) (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the Agha Juice mango pre-order website and runs the Mango Festival. You can contact us about privacy at contact@aghajuice.com.au.
What we collect
We only collect what we need to take your order, run the event, and keep you informed:
- Contact details — your name, email address and mobile number.
- Order & reservation details — the mango varieties and quantities you pre-order or reserve, your chosen pickup city/point, and your order reference code.
- Delivery address — street address, suburb, state and postcode, but only if you choose a delivery option (delivery is currently limited).
- Location information— the postcode or suburb you search, and, only if you tap “Use my current location”, your device’s approximate location. This is used to show your nearest pickup city or register-interest option.
- Festival & register-interest details — your registration, any boxes you pledge or reserve, and your unique lucky-draw code.
- Technical & usage data— basic device/browser information and anti-fraud signals collected to protect our forms (see “Third parties”).
Payments: we do not collect or store your card or bank account numbers. PayID payments are made by you directly from your own banking app; we only record your order reference so we can match your payment.
How we use your information
- To process and confirm your pre-order or reservation and arrange pickup or delivery.
- To send you order, payment and event emails (for example, when your batch is ready).
- To run the Mango Festival lucky draw and, if you win, to contact you about your prize.
- To gauge demand by state so we know where to bring mangoes next.
- To protect our website and forms against spam, bots and fraud.
Third parties who help us
We share your information only with service providers that help us operate, and only as needed. These include:
- Supabase — secure database and hosting of order/registration data.
- Vercel — website hosting and bot-detection (BotID) to protect our forms.
- Resend — sending our confirmation and notification emails.
- Google Maps / Places— geocoding: turning the postcode or suburb you search (or, if you tap “Use my current location”, your approximate coordinates) into a location and state. Used when a Google Maps key is configured.
- OpenStreetMap / Nominatim — the same geocoding, used as a fallback when a Google key is not configured. Your search text or approximate coordinates are sent to it to find the matching location.
- Google Fonts— serving the website’s fonts (your IP address is visible to Google when the fonts load).
- Google Analytics — anonymous usage statistics (only if enabled).
Some providers may process data outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to ensure they protect your information consistently with the APPs. We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies & local storage
We use a small amount of browser storage to remember, for example, that you’ve seen the festival popup or dismissed the banner, and (if enabled) analytics cookies. You can clear these at any time in your browser settings.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as needed to fulfil your order, run the current season/festival, meet our record-keeping obligations, and then dispose of or de-identify it.
Security
Access to your data is restricted and served over encrypted connections. Our database enforces strict deny-by-default access rules, and sensitive operations run only on our secured servers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Your rights
You may request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you, and you may ask us to delete it where we’re not required to keep it. Email contact@aghajuice.com.auand we’ll respond within a reasonable time. If you have a concern we can’t resolve, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
Children
Our website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children without the involvement of a parent or guardian.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows when it last changed.
